S. Ravi (umpire)
Sundaram Ravi (born 22 April 1966; also known as S. Ravi) is an international cricket umpire from Tamil Nadu, India and a member of the ICC Elite umpire panel.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/9/9495/9495.html )〕 He has umpired seven Test matches, twenty-five One Day Internationals, twelve Twenty20 International matches and 27 Indian Premier League matches. 〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/records/individual/most_matches_umpire.html?id=117;type=trophy )〕
Ravi was elevated to the ICC Elite umpire panel for 2015-16 and becomes only the second Indian umpire after Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan ever to be represented in the panel. Earlier, Ravi was denied nomination to ICC umpiring panel repeatedly by BCCI on controversial age limits for umpires. He was selected as one of the twenty umpires to stand in matches during the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
